Edward S. Inouye, Esq.
Edward S. Inouye completed his undergraduate work at University of California, Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1975. He worked in the estate planning field in the insurance industry prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law in 1982. Ed was admitted to the California State Bar in 1983 and served as Director of the Estate and Financial Planning Division of Resource Insurance and Investment Services, Inc. from 1982-1985. Beginning in 1986, Ed entered private practice in Orange, California, with an emphasis in Estate Planning and Business Continuity Planning. In 1990, he joined the firm of Oshins and Gibbons in Las Vegas, Nevada, as an Associate, while maintaining his private practice in California. In 1991, he became a partner at Oshins and Gibbons and concurrently formed the California Partnership of Oshins & Inouye in which he continued to be a partner until 1995. Since 1995, Ed has been a sole practitioner in Orange County, specializing in basic and advanced estate planning, tax planning, and business continuity planning. He continues to maintain his home office in Irvine, but also maintains a strong and active clientele in the greater Los Angeles area, Northern California, and Las Vegas areas. He lectures extensively to the general public as well as major financial institutions including John Hancock Life Insurance Company, Signature Resources, Inc., RSM McGladrey, Inc., Oppenheimer & Co., and Union Bank of California in the area of advanced estate planning. Ed also acts as a special counsel to other estate planning attorneys for their advanced estate planning cases. |
